I'm a therapist, music therapist, educator, creative, and curious human being interested in the many ways we experience, and make sense of, wellbeing.
I created Blossoming Wellness and Music as a space to explore the connections between our inner lives and the worlds around us. My work has taken many forms over the years: Therapy, music, education, community work, creative expression, research, conversation, and reflection. Rather than seeing these as separate parts of who I am, I see them as different ways of asking similar questions.
What helps us feel well?
What helps us understandourselves?
How are we shaped by the people, cultures, communities, and systems around us?
What happens when we make space to explore those connections?

I don't believe we blossom in isolation.
Our wellbeing is personal, but it is also relational, cultural, creative and systemic. The relationships we have, the communities we belong to, the cultures we grow up in, the environments we move through, and the systems we live within all shape how we experience ourselves and the world.
Blossoming Wellness and Music grew from my desire to create space for exploring those connections.
Sometimes, that looks like therapy.
Sometimes, it looks like learning.
Sometimes, it looks like making music or being creative.
Sometimes, it means having a conversation, listening to another person's experience, or sitting with a question that doesn't have an easy answer.
These are the spaces that have become the foundation of my work:
Heal - therapy and music therapy
Learn - education and exploration
Create - music, creativity, and wellbeing
Connect - culture, identity, and community
Reflect - perspectives, questions, and conversations
These aren't separate paths, and they aren't meant to be. They overlap, inform one another, and create different ways of engaging with ourselves and the world around us.
My own experience have also shaped the questions I bring to this work.
As a first-generation Asian American, I've spent much of my life thinking about identity, culture, belonging, and the experience of moving between different expectations and ways of understanding the world.
Those questions don't exist separately from my professional work. They continue to influence the way I think about mental health, relationships, creativity, community, and what it means to feel seen and understood.
I'm particularly interested in the spaces between things:
Between identities.
Between cultures.
between individual and collective wellbeing.
Between creativity and healing.
Between what we have been taught and what we are beginning to question.
Between knowing and wondering.
I don't see these spaces as problems that always need to be resolved. Sometimes they are places worth exploring.
I don't want Blossoming Wellness and Music to be a place where everything has to be about becoming a better, happier, or more optimized version of yourself.
I want it to be a place where there is room to be human.
A place to heal when healing is needed.
To learn when you are curious.
To create when words aren't enough.
To connect with people, culture, and community.
And to reflect: to question, reconsider, listen, and make meaning.
Sometimes we need answers. Sometimes we need better questions.
There is room for both here.
